doing-the-w30-IG
Day 1 of the Whole30 starts today!  And not only am I looking forward to my personal Whole30 journey, but I am most excited to share this experience with some of my personal training clients.  Together we are a group of 13 individuals who are are going to spend the next 30 days following the Whole30 Program.

  • No added sugar of any kind, real or artificial
  • No dairy
  • No grains
  • No legumes
  • No white potatoes
  • No carrageenan, MSG or sulfites
  • No alcohol in any form, not even for cooking. (And it should go without saying, but no tobacco products of any sort, either.)
  • No Paleo-ifying baked goods, desserts, or junk foods

And finally, you are not allowed to step on the scale or take any body measurements for the duration of the program.

I’ll be writing about my experience with the Whole30.  For better or for worse we are doing this together.  I’ll keep you posted with meal ideas, how it feels to exercise on low carbs, food prep tips, and a little inspiration to get us through the next 30 days.

  • Hey! This is so exciting, cant wait to see the updates. Kalvin and I are Paleo and love it, excited to see how you feel after the whole30! We aren’t as intense as the whole30 but I would love to try it!

  • Hey! I´m so glad that you have started to do blog post! 🙂 I´m also curious to hear what you think of a low carb diet after your 30 days!

    • Thanks Sofia! My clients and I have been eat low carb in preparation for the Whole30. Right now I think the hardest will be no sugar and no dairy. Prior to the Whole30 I was taking a whey protein supplement with artificial flavoring and eating kvarg often for quick meals on the go. While my protein powder will be dearly missed… I am looking forward to seeing how I feel after. Any tips? Great to hear from you!
